Christi & Mike present Brown Act Traps & Escape Routes
Mike & Christi have prepared a funny and educational program exploring the thornier Brown Act dilemmas. They will present it at the Friday moetning session of the State Bar's Public Law Section's seminar on the Brown Act and the Public Records Act.

Hogin to Chair Revisions to Municipal Law Handbook
 Christi will chair the committee of city attorneys responsible for the annual updates to the Municipal Law Handbook again for the 2012 edition.  In 2010, the City Attorneys Department of the League of California Cities undertook its most ambitious revision/update of the Municipal Law Handbook since its original publication in 1991 and Christi edited the chapter on Environmental Protection. Last year, Christi chaired the editorial committee and the new Handbook will be published July 31, 2011.

Christi (a die-hard Bruin) will speak at the USC Gould School of Law 2011 Real Estate Law and Business Forum on March 2 at the Jonathan Town Club.  Christi will be sharing her insights on the effect of the city of Bell scandal on local governance and real estate.
